Sgt Aiden Clarke recently attended a week long Regiment Course. He gives us an insight below:
I really enjoyed the course and all the different activities we did. I highly recommend the course to anyone who wants a career in the military mainly for the fact that it shows you and takes you through everything you need to know and how to achieve it.
Also you do get to do a lot of fun things like the assault course, swimming tests, getting to know the Regiment's weapons one by one, presentations of the Regiment and what they have done, normal fitness tests PT (physical training), field craft, climbing, shooting and skirmish (battle training) that was also really good there are so many more things you do.
One of the other reasons for going is you meet new interesting amazing people who are perfect examples of what you can become if you join the military and even then you make new friends from all around the UK like we has Scottish Welsh and Northern Irish people all there for the same reason as you and just from that alone I would highly recommend going on this camp.
But over all I would say this is one of the best camps I've been on so I recommend it.
